It's kind of criminal there aren't 52 Mark Waids out there.Tonyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13984799425896501960noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28855039.post-6817453017235724792011-07-31T20:31:06.155-07:002011-07-31T20:31:06.155-07:00If I could be assured that all of the new DC title...If I could be assured that all of the new DC titles would be as positive and imaginative as Daredevil by Mark Waid, I would be on board for the whole line instead of just four or five titles.Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16030557639473109093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28855039.post-55872650563449749722011-07-28T10:26:19.802-07:002011-07-28T10:26:19.802-07:00I'd like to imagine a world with 52 Mark Waids...I'd like to imagine a world with 52 Mark Waids writing comics, or 52 Grant Morrisons. 52 Warren Ellis (Ellises?) would probably be kind of scary though, and result in them one-upping their twisted writings to a point where just reading a comic with the name Ellis attached to it causes one to commit violent sexual crimes.David Charles Bitterbaumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00112993605550278929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28855039.post-65307398390597449252011-07-27T23:38:53.788-07:002011-07-27T23:38:53.788-07:00Another crucial difference: with the Daredevil rel...Another crucial difference: with the Daredevil relaunch, Marvel went in a brighter direction than what had gone before. DC, on the other hand, seems to have decided to make its entire line even darker than it was before. (Not saying every title has to be "light and brighty," but one would hope there would be at least some room for that approach in 52 titles...and yes, I realize that the books have yet to be released, but the solicits, interviews and SDCC panels on the subject all indicate an even darker direction than the past 7 years.)Ryanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02851123010289130436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28855039.post-6745553031842908722011-07-27T22:27:38.160-07:002011-07-27T22:27:38.160-07:00preach it!preach it!BKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14262262627667900995noreply@blogger.com
