I can understand the appeal, but Jones' wonky proportions and excessive blacks drive me nuts. That Two-Face cover is killer, though.

Damn I love his Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow. But his version of Two-Face doesn't really do it for me. That's unfortunate, considering Two-Face is my favorite Bat-villain and I love me some Kelley Jones Batman.

I confess I was not a Kelley Jones fan when he was doing covers during Knightfall, but once he started doing interiors on Batman he started to grow on me. It helped that Doug Moench wrote scripts that were tailor-made for Jones's strengths, where Batman was dark and scary and the villains were odd and creepy.
