I read several in bed every night, and fairly often wake up with Iron Man on my face. That's not as cool as you might think.Eviehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11054771346933091142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28855039.post-48415288244120609042008-03-20T14:42:00.000-07:002008-03-20T14:42:00.000-07:00What, no Cap review? No, I'm reading it in trade, a...What, no Cap review?

No, I'm reading it in trade, and I hate to switch formats. I've been checking in on it, and reading the big news issues (the death issue, the gun-toting cap debut), but I don't read it issue by issue.

Here's my attempt at winning a Baldy award: in the Brave & The Bold story, it is a different imp from the same Fifth Dimension that appears in Ultraman's universe.

Hey, who are you calling baldy? Oh, right, a Baldy. I thought that too, when that Mxy referred to himself as a voweled knight from dimension five, but then he started getting corrupted by the nature of the universe, the same way the Syndicate and League do in oneanother's worlds...and then he mentioned his own universe a few times.

Of course, I'm sure Waid understands the structure of the DC Multiverse a lot better than I do...a assumed the same dimensions applied across the Multiverse, but perhaps not.

I find it funny that my favourite Marvel titles involve characters who, if you asked me a year ago, I'd have said could never support a title solo: Iron Fist, Nova, and Hercules are pretty damned good reads.

It's crazy, isn't it? I never thought I'd read a Hercules series, let alone find it one of my favorite Marvel series...

I haven't tried Nova yet.

It's not different from Kevin himself, who banned me when I commented on one of his music video posts, saying I wasn't fond of the song, and he called me a prick for having the gall to express an opinion that didn't jive with his. When I asked him why he needed to escalate things to name-calling when all I did was comment on his post, he deleted my comment and banned my IP address.

Eh, I don't really want to get into the Church/D'Orazio brawn here, especially since they seem to have resolved their conflict to a certain degree. I've never been banned from Church's blog (but I don't think I've never disagreed with him on music before), but I have had D'Orazio not post my comments before.

Everyone has some degree of moderations--Church doesn't allow annonymous posting anymore, for example--and it's up to them how they handle it. D'Orazio's showed some unfortunate double standards, as Huxford's case shows, but you can check out his site for the skinny on all that.Calebhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01391759187396994380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28855039.post-18481875695489806162008-03-20T11:02:00.000-07:002008-03-20T11:02:00.000-07:00OOoooooooh, an intraweb grudge!Hold on while I win...OOoooooooh, an intraweb grudge!

Hold on while I wind myself up to take this as seriously as the anonymous author so obviously thinks it should be.

Still winding...

Still winding...

...okay, I'll be back later. That strikes me as kind of intellectually dishonest, to ask for feedback, but then only show the feedback you agree with to the rest of your audience. That's...different than most blogs, isn't it?"

It's not different from Kevin himself, who banned me when I commented on one of his music video posts, saying I wasn't fond of the song, and he called me a prick for having the gall to express an opinion that didn't jive with his.
