Extremely funny. I loved reading the icecream social comics too. You clearly have a good thing going with them. In the same way that Tiny Titans is funny and endearing, so are your JL pieces.
So wait, was that the old Aquaman or the new one? If it's the old one, where's his hook hand? And how did he come back from the dead? If it's the new one, why's he wearing his predecessor's costume?
Awwwwww ... That's very funny and very sad at the same time. Poor John. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat work, sir. Love the touch of John's eyes being green only while he's using the ring. That's attention to detail there.

ReplyDeleteJust kidding, this was another great comic!
It's so typically Caleb that Batman would be fighting the Scarecrow. =P
ReplyDeleteSeriously, DC needs to contact you about creating the DC Comics equivalent of Mini Marvels.
ReplyDeleteThis was rather sweet, AND hilarious. I loved Aquaman's remark about Phelps being a POOL swimmer.

ReplyDeleteUmm...it's whichever Aquaman was in Final Crisis #3 and at J'onn J'onnz's funeral in FC: Requiem...?

Not only is he my favorite, he's also the easiest to draw.

They should contact me about writing 'em maybe; they'd need a semi-competent artist and letterrer though...
Caleb, I would love it if in every strip you draw in which Batman appears, he's caught in the middle of fighting the Scarecrow.
ReplyDeleteSo John ends up playing with himself?
