I grew up on horror and zombie movies and gore doesn't bother me. In the right genre. DC comics isn't the right place for it. The occasional ""Oh shit!" scene is fine. But not as a constant.
I see that kind of gore in DC mainstream comics and its out of place. Like your grandmother becoming a porn star.
