I haven't been able to access my blog for a couple days, and no I can. Unfortunately, my last post, a long-ass, rambling piece on the Thor movie, seems to have disappeared. Hopefully only temporarily, as I already got rid of the word document I had typed it up on before posting it, but I don't know—last I heard, posts posted between a certain time were unable to be viewed for a certain time. Maybe that certain time is now permanent, since I can get in to post this, but my Thor post is gone...?
I guess this is why I should back up my blog, huh? I am a terrible, terrible blogger. Anyway, um...normal service will be restored soon....? I hope...?
The posts (and any comments) will be restored. Google news on Blogger and you'll see the whole thing and the ensuing controversy on Internet "clouds".
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to me! I thought that I did something horrible or stupid (both of which are quite possible) It was a broadly based thing then?
ReplyDeleteYou relieve my mind. Oh, and sorry about losing your stuff.
Drat!
I'm sure it will get restored but if it doesn't you can get the text of your Thor post from your RSS feed.
ReplyDeleteHi Caleb! Your Thor post is still available, links and pictures and all! (Well, that one picture you posted at the beginning.) You can find it here: http://everydaylikewed.livejournal.com/377637.html
ReplyDeleteThey assure us that they are going to retrieve all the data:

My rambling article on the last episode of Doctor Who is back. So it's in progress.
ReplyDeleteThanks all. And thanks to the readers who sent me text from my post, apparently pulled from their RSS feeders or Google readers or whatever those things are. I really appreciate it.
