I have a rather gushy review—more of a hymn of praise, really—for Tom Scioli's American Barbarian, one of the better (and by far the most fun) comic I've read in a while. You can read it here.
If you've got the extra bread this week (it's $20), I can't recommend it highly enough. You can probably put Avengers Vs. X-Men back and use that $4 to help you purchase an American Barbarian (AVX #1 will be in the dollar bin in a coupla months anyway, right?).
You can read a preview of it here (Actually, it began as a webcomic, so you can probably read the whole thing online if you really wanted to, but that's an awful lot of looking at a computer screen), and Tom Spurgeon recently conducted a pretty in-depth interview with Scioli here, if you'd like to read that (I'd recommend maybe holding off until you've read the comic though, so as not to spoil some of the more awesome techniques employed, as Tom asks Tom about some of them specifically).
