The only finer three minutes of cinema I can think of is when Optimus Prime mows down the Decepticons to the song "The Touch" in the Transformers movie.
Oh, and is it just me, or does that Cobra foot soldier guy at 1:09 look a lot like DC's new Vigilante?
The B.A.T. Battle Android Trooper? I think I'd rather read an ongoing about a B.A.T. than Vigilante IV or IX or whichever version of Vig they're on now...
And what are the chances that anything in the new movie even approaches the awesomeness of this three minute clip? I'm guessing not very likely.
I'm not terribly hopeful, but maybe they're making the previews look intentionally lame so no one gets they're hopes up. I'm not liking the looks of a mask-less Destro and those accelerator suit things, and I don't think my favorite Joes—Lady Jaye, Shipwreck—are even in it.
It will all depend on how shreiky Cobra Commander turns out, I think...
Hey! No one parachuted out of the Cobra Helicarrier!
Maybe it was on auto-pilot? Of course, they even showed blood in the movie, so perhaps people were allowed to die off-screen in it...

Man, thanks for planting that damn song in my head. Actually, the first few minutes of Transformers was pretty damn good too, when Unicron eats the generic robot planet? I don't think there's anything nearly as cinematic in either of the live action flicks...

Ugh, Cobra Commander extended crotch shot.
*bah, it wasn't CC, but you know, most of the same uniform.
But that's still a five-second crotch shot.
Just makes you want to salute an apple pie, doesn't it?
Such an under-rated piece of genius crazy cinema. I hope GI Joe 2 is about Cobra-la.
I just hope that Duke properly disposes of that flag. Once an American flag touches the ground it has to be burned.

Speaking of celebration, I should let you know I chose EDILW to win an Uber-Amazing Blog award. And richly deserved too.
That really should be the first 10 minutes of the live-action movie.

Who says this cartoon isn't realistic?

But that's not nearly as patriotic.
SO much better when it has the Action Force music backing it :P Happy 4th of July anyway.
