So what will Marvel Studios follow The Avengers movie with...?

Well, it looks like the Marvel movie universe is only one bearded demigod away from the line-up of the most sensational new super-group of all...

Coming in 2014! In my head!

It was just announced that Brett Ratner, director of X-Men 3, is making a Hercules movie starring the Rock... just a shame it's the *other* comic book Herc, the one by Steve Moore.

Wow. Can I see that one too?

Actually you're off a bit. "Marvel Studios" has the rights to Black Widow and Hurculese. Sony has the rights to Ghost Rider and 20th Century Fox has the rights to Angel and Icemen. As long as Sony and Fox have those rights, we'll never get the Champions.
Heck, for this reason Beast, Wolverine, Spidey, Daredevil and the FF can never appear in the Avengers films.

Adding onto Scott's mention of the various studios, is that Marvel lost the rights to using "The Champions"...
