Meanwhile, at Robot 6...

Today at Robot 6 I have a review of Rob Sakowitz's new (prose) book, Comic-Con and the Business of Pop Culture, which is a pretty good and quite up-to-date survey of the issues facing comics today, using his visit to the 2011 Con as a framing device. You can read my piece here, if you like.
