Way to rock the Wrightson bat-ears...plus, I love the way Bruce has the voter choice all parsed out so succinctly.

Can't wait to see all these cartoons collected into a book...hope DC will give you the rights to borrow the characters!

Nailed it.

At first I was simply enjoying the humor of the normally taciturn Batman being incongruously articulate about his political views...but you elevated it still higher by making such a lucid case for his position not being what so many would expect. I'm categorically against giving the major heroes any party affiliation (as far as I'm concerned, that dumbass miniseries is simply not happening) but you did this with wit and intelligence.

Do you think Batman is really FOR the "War on Drugs"? Isn't it the criminalization of substances that allow people to make criminal empires out of things like pot? I think the Bat really needs to get behind taxes for the wealthy & reform programs. He's not a facist! HE DOES IT BY HIMSELF.

See, it's funny because Calendar Man is a convicted felon, and thus ineligible to vote...

Depends on the state whether felons can or can't vote...

or if ACORN is the one filing the application...

Batman brings such a...unique perspective to politics, doesn't he?

Superb as always.

Woo hoo! Calendar Man!

I actually used him just for you.

Well, and 'cause his costume's kinda fun to draw.

Do you think Batman is really FOR the "War on Drugs"?

In my first draft (which is basically just like this, only with stick figures and on post-it notes instead of incex cards), I had him saying the "war on hard drugs," but it sounded funny to me.

If Batman were really real, I don't think he'd care much about Gotham University students smoking pot in their dorm rooms or at Ekoostik Hookah shows, and I bet Grant Morrison's Batman has experimented with most psychotropic drugs.

I think he would mainly be concerned with crack, heroine, cocaine, meth and the sort of drugs that lead people to mug folks to be able to buy fixes and that The Ghost Dragons and Street Demonz would have turf wars over the right to sell to kids and so forth.
