Ah, I had no idea the controversy had reached the USA! As someone who strongly dislikes football, I love to see how much the vuvuzela upsets fans and players.

it is kinda annoying. walking around through china town and little italy in NY it's on tv's EVRYWHERE!

one house i passed by in little italy had a large flat screen tv set up outside with about 20 chairs in front of it, all filled with fans watching!

all you heard was that non stop continuous buzzing, like a angry swarm of bees. i don't even wanna imagine how loud it must sound like at the actual stadium!

by the way...nice cartoon!

Hey, dammit, the vuvuzela is an ancient South African tradition that stretches all the way back to the mid 1990's, so you will respect it.

ANY INSTRUMENT would sound horrible if THOUSANDS of them were all blaring simultaneously and nonsensically.

Here in Portugal they've started filtering out the vuvuzela's sound frequency. It's worked quite nicely.
