I really would want to read that story to find out what the heck that all means. Well, I guess I`ll have to buy the showcase collection that has it. I never really have thought of Superman as just an American. I wonder why some people actually HAVE.

The great thing is that the story inside is exactly as insane as the cover promises.
I saw it and wondered if maybe that's where the "Superman: King of the World" storyline from the late '90s/early '00s came from.
